Job Summary

The Production Lead position is a key role within our organization, responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our manufacturing facility. This individual will provide leadership and guidance to the production team, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Leadership: Provide guidance and direction to the production team, ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standard.
  • Quality Control: Monitor and maintain the quality of our products, ensuring that they meet our high standards.
  • Staffing and Scheduling: Evaluate staffing schedules to ensure that all production activities are completed, and make adjustments as necessary.
  • Safety and Sanitation: Ensure that all food safety and sanitation requirements are met and maintained, and that all employees are following OSHA safety requirements.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and development opportunities for new employees, and ensure that all employees are equipped with the skills and knowledge necessary to perform their jobs effectively.
  • Communication: Communicate with supervisors and other departments to ensure that all production schedules and customer orders are met.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: A minimum of 1 year of management experience in manufacturing is required, with a high school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Skills and Abilities: Must be punctual and self-motivated, with excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment. Proficient with computer applications, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Physical Requirements: Must be able to perform physical requirements of the position, including walking, standing, stooping, and climbing, and be able to lift up to 60 pounds without restriction.
