Job Summary

We are seeking a Catering Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our leadership and professional support team, you will oversee catering and events, manage staff, build client relations, and ensure exceptional quality in our services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Catering Management: Coordinate and execute internal and external catering events, including planning, setup, operation, and cleanup.
  • Marketing and Sales: Develop and maintain a comprehensive marketing plan for catering services, including menu development and event planning for clients.
  • Staff Management: Hire, train, and schedule catering staff, providing ongoing development and coaching to improve their skills and performance.
  • Operations and Logistics: Manage labor costs, food costs, transportation, and equipment needs to ensure successful operations of catering functions.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality or Culinary Arts is required.
  • Work Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in the hospitality industry, with at least 2 years in management (preferably catering management).
  • Skills and Abilities: Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to supervise food preparation and service, and experience with menu pricing, contract negotiation, and temporary help sourcing.

The estimated salary range for this position is $80,000 - $95,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
