MRI Technologist

Under the supervision of the Lead MRI Technologist, and adhering to established policies and procedures, performs a variety of duties related to MRI.
Performs MRI procedures to assist physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of patients' illnesses and injuries, is responsible for the care and safety of patients undergoing MRI procedures, and utilizes MRI equipment.
Required Skills and Qualifications:- Minimum one year of experience in MRI Technology
- Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills
- Working knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, and/or willingness to continue formal education in this category within a designated time period
- Will require 1-3 months of orientation or the equivalent with on-the-job training based on existing skill-set
- Hands-on experience with Siemens MRI equipment
- Synapse/PACS experience
- ARRT or ARMRIT certification in Radiologic Technology and MRI Technology; successful completion of an intravenous certification class approved by this institution, successfully accomplished within the 12-week probationary period
- ARRT or ARMRIT certification in Radiologic Technology and MRI Technology required
Use hands to control objects, tools, or controls, stand or sit for long periods of time, repeat the same movements, on feet for long periods of time, bend or twist body.

Must have the ability to perform the essential functions of the position without posing a direct threat to the health and safety of themselves or other individuals in the workplace, with or without a reasonable accommodation.
