Salary: $140,000/yr (DOE)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead shop floor operations and implement initiatives to enhance performance.
  • Mentor, train, and develop team leaders and staff to foster a positive work culture, ensuring productivity, quality, and operational efficiency.
  • Direct the design, development, and execution of improved manufacturing methodologies.
  • Manage processes to achieve enhanced workflow, capacity optimization, sustainability, and increased ROI.
  • Oversee continuous improvement initiatives, including kaizen, layout optimization, SMED, etc., to boost operational productivity.
  • Assess resource needs effectively.
  • Drive daily operations to meet on-time delivery targets for customer orders while maintaining profitable margins.
  • Establish, uphold, and exceed safety standards within the workplace.
  • Set and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly performance targets for machining centers and work cells.
Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of experience in the manufacturing sector with progressively responsible roles.
  • Experience in aerospace manufacturing is highly desirable.
  • Hands-on experience with Manual/CNC Machining (Mills and/or Lathes) is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing.
  • Familiarity with MS applications and MRP systems is advantageous.
  • Excellent analytical, training, and presentation skills, along with strong communication abilities, both verbal and written.
  • Proficient problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
  • Experience in building and nurturing high-performing teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, tools, and techniques.
  • Background in continuous improvement practices, lean manufacturing, and six sigma methodologies.
