Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Pathologist II to join our team at Alameda Health System. As a Speech Pathologist II, you will be responsible for providing professional services, including diagnosis and treatment, to individuals with speech and language disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients' communicative abilities and conduct audiological screenings.
  • Administer diagnostic tests of articulation, language, auditory perception, voice, and stuttering.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans using current principles, theories, and practices.
  • Counsel patients and relatives regarding problems resulting from communicative disorders.
  • Keep records of work performed and prepare reports on patients' treatment and progress.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree or equivalent in Speech Pathology from a school approved by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Pathology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and a license to practice Speech Pathology in the State of California.
