Job Summary:

Cadence Education is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Preschool Director to lead our educational programs and ensure the highest quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:

Education and Curriculum:

  • Develop and implement approved preschool curriculum to ensure successful implementation and quality educational programs.
  • Maintain compliance with accreditation and state licensing requirements, as well as all applicable state and federal laws, and preschool policies and procedures.
  • Ensure the school maintains a high level of quality, exceeding national and state education standards.
  • Practice effective counseling and advising of students and parents, fostering a safe and nurturing learning environment.
  • Emphasize student achievement and create an environment that promotes children's development and well-being.
  • Develop and maintain effective communication protocols.
  • Ensure the environment is safe, organized, and meets the high-quality standards of Cadence Education.
  • Develop and implement team processes for advancing learning outcomes.

Leadership and Managing Performance:

  • Uphold company standards and set the example by consistently modeling professional leadership, management, and instructional skills while interacting with others.
  • Clearly communicate preschool standards, guidelines, and policies to all staff, emphasizing their importance to the organization.
  • Train and supervise a staff of 20-40, oversee performance appraisals, and develop individualized goals for staff's professional growth and development.
  • Recruit and hire new staff.

Financial Management:

  • Analyze financial profit and loss results, customer satisfaction measures, and other key performance data to make informed decisions for the success of our preschool.
  • Manage the preschool to achieve and exceed planned financial and enrollment targets.
  • Review and operate the budget, demonstrating an understanding of the process.
  • Continually seek ways to manage and reduce expenses without sacrificing quality or service, balancing profitability with priorities related to staff and our children and families.
  • Interact externally with current enrollment and prospect parents, external curriculum activities, and vendors.
