Labor and Delivery RN Job Opportunity

We're seeking skilled Labor and Delivery RNs for an immediate travel nurse opening in a hospital in Beaver Dam, WI. The ideal candidate should have 3 years' recent acute care experience and be able to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide care and support for women before, during, and after delivery of a baby.
  • Monitor contractions and help patients with breathing techniques.
  • Check cervix periodically to monitor progression/lack of dilation.
  • Ensure beds are kept clean and dry; clean up bodily fluids expelled before and after birthing process.
  • Aid physician with drapes, gloves, gowns, delivery instruments, etc.
  • Immediate care of newborn.
Requirements:
  • BLS, AWHONN, NRP, 3 Years
  • Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.

As a Labor and Delivery Travel Nurse, you should be prepared to work in a dynamic environment and possess good skills for coping with stress. You should also be able to relate to people of all ages and backgrounds.
