Position Overview:
We are in search of a proficient and innovative Metalwork Fabricator/Engineer to join our organization. This position demands expertise in metal fabrication, CNC operation, welding, and AutoCAD to produce high-quality items for our clientele. You will collaborate with a team that prioritizes precision, creativity, and excellence. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with a robust background in metalwork fabrication/engineering seeking to advance their career in the manufacturing sector.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design, fabricate, and assemble metal products, including doors, windows, and cladding, utilizing various metals such as steel and aluminum.
2. Operate CNC machinery to cut, drill, or shape metal components for assembly.
3. Employ AutoCAD and microvellum software to generate detailed blueprints and plans for each project.
4. Execute welding tasks using diverse techniques, ensuring the strength and durability of each product.
5. Oversee the quality of finished products to guarantee they meet company standards and client specifications.
6. Provide technical support and guidance to the production team, addressing any challenges that arise during the fabrication process.
7. Maintain a safe and organized work environment by adhering to established procedures, rules, and regulations.
8. Continuously enhance knowledge of new technologies and equipment to improve efficiency and product quality.
Qualifications:
1. At least 5 years of experience in metalwork fabrication/engineering within a manufacturing environment.
2. Proficient in operating CNC machines and utilizing metalworking tools.
3. Extensive understanding of various metals, including steel and aluminum, and their properties.
4. Proficient in AutoCAD and microvellum software for designing and planning fabrication projects.
5. Excellent welding skills, with a solid grasp of different welding techniques and safety protocols.
6. Strong attention to detail, capable of producing high-quality products that meet client specifications.
7. Effective problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to troubleshoot issues and devise effective solutions.
8. Good communication skills, able to work collaboratively within a team.
9. Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
10. A degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field is preferred.
