Responsibilities- Provide administrative and clinical support to healthcare providers, including maintaining patient records, preparing patients for examination, and assisting with medical procedures.
- Conduct patient interviews, take vital signs, and record information in the electronic medical record.
- Assist providers with examination, treatments, and procedures as directed.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information, including medical history, allergies, and medications.
- Provide patient education and support, including explaining treatment procedures, medications, and providers' instructions.
- Perform front-desk operations, including answering phones, greeting patients, and scheduling appointments.
- Travel within the region to provide support services to healthcare providers and patients.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred (RMA or CMA).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant.
- CPR certification, IV Start Certification, and phlebotomy experience preferred.
- Knowledge of medical coding, HIPAA, and OSHA regulations.
- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with electronic medical records.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
