Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver High-Quality Patient Care: Provide individualized care to patients, utilizing evidence-based research, nursing policies, and standards of care to ensure safe and excellent delivery of care.
  • Effective Communication: Maintain ongoing communication with patients, nursing colleagues, and other healthcare team members regarding patient status, rendered care, and treatment plans.
  • Medication Administration: Safely administer medications using the latest advancements in bar-scanning and documentation technologies.
  • Electronic Documentation: Accurately document patient assessments, plan-of-care, interventions, and evaluation of rendered care using Point-of-Care electronic documentation.
  • Patient Education: Provide patient and family-centered education to optimize health, wellness, and disease management.
  • Discharge Planning: Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe transitioning and continuum of care for patients.
Requirements
  • Current NJ Nursing License: Possess a valid and current New Jersey Nursing license.
  • BLS/CPR Certification: Hold BLS/CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
  • BSN or Equivalent: Have a BSN in progress or be willing to acquire within three years of hire.
  • Nursing Experience: Possess at least one year of nursing experience.
  • Adaptability and Accountability: Demonstrate the ability to learn quickly, adapt to changing patient needs, and take ownership of improving patient outcomes.
