At Mi-Jack Global Product Support, we are seeking a highly skilled Field Support Electrical Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting for our electric and hybrid equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot complex field issues on electric and hybrid equipment, working closely with our product support group and service technicians.
  • Develop high-level troubleshooting guides, techniques, and support documentation for all electric and hybrid equipment.
  • Collaborate with our engineering team to ensure compliance and provide assistance for high-level issues requiring technical expertise.
  • Participate in engineering design reviews, including R&D projects and quoted jobs for internal and external customers.
  • Contribute to code reviews, identify technical debt, and understand coding standards and best practices.
  • Analyze process control data to drive product improvement and provide technical direction based on industry best practices and experience.
  • Utilize CAD software and other design and modeling tools to conduct analysis and tests to determine weaknesses and failures in products.
  • Protect the organization's value by maintaining confidentiality and ensuring compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics.
  • 6-10 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a strong understanding of motion control systems.
  • Proven experience in troubleshooting and optimizing motion control systems for industrial applications.
  • Knowledge of computer languages commonly used in motion control systems, such as C/C++, Python, CoDeSys, or MATLAB/Simulink.
  • Familiarity with control theory principles and their application in motion control systems.
  • Experience working with various motion control hardware components and communication protocols.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with modern web frameworks, such as ReactJS.
  • Working knowledge of websockets and real-time communication.
