**Job Summary**
Talent Groups is seeking a highly skilled Database Systems Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our Big Data Support Services, you will be responsible for providing 24x7 support for our State Street database environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first and second-level support for our Exadata, Netezza, Oracle databases, Oracle database appliance, ZFS, and Golden Gate systems.
- Operate a tiered support model, working closely with our SysOps team for infrastructure monitoring and basic troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with our Big Data Support system administrators and database administrators to ensure seamless support.
- Ensure separation of duties between engineering and operations, including between system administrators and database administrators.
- Work closely with our clients to understand their business needs and ensure that any changes are fully tested and compatible with their applications, schedules, and capacity needs.
- Key Activities:
- Monitor all Exadata, ODA, ZFS, Netezza, DBA, and Golden Gate systems.
- Install, configure, and maintain agents (e.g., Autosys, Tanium, Illumio, Dynatrace, Splunk).
- Apply security patches for all vulnerabilities.
