REPORTS TO: FB Manager

FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt, Hourly

SALARY: $16.00

POSITION OVERVIEW: This role is essential for ensuring precise financial transactions and managing inventory within the concessions area.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure accurate financial management of cash and inventory at the designated concession stand.
  • Execute assigned tasks effectively as per location requirements.
  • Maintain a safe and hygienic work environment for all staff.
  • Prepare for daily sales based on anticipated demand.
  • Coordinate with the Food and Beverage Manager regarding cash needs during peak hours.
  • Organize and manage all necessary documentation related to cashier duties, including:
    • Physical inventory records
    • Meal tracking and spoilage documentation
    • Cash slip processing
  • Verify menu pricing against items sold.
  • Oversee the accurate recording of employee meals and vouchers, if applicable.
  • Adhere to cash handling protocols consistently.
  • Fulfill additional responsibilities as directed by the supervisor.
  • Uphold cleanliness and safety standards in the workplace.

QUALIFICATIONS:

To excel in this position, candidates must demonstrate the ability to fulfill each essential duty competently. The following qualifications are necessary:

  • Basic knowledge of cash register operations and cash management.
  • Mathematical proficiency for accurate money handling.
  • Understanding of concession or cafeteria operations.
  • Ability to follow instructions and execute tasks effectively.
  • Friendly demeanor and professional appearance.
  • Proficient in English to communicate with customers and team members.

  • Strong awareness of hygiene and sanitation practices.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

The physical demands for this role include the ability to move throughout the facility, stand for extended periods, and communicate effectively. The position may involve working indoors or outdoors as required by events, as well as lifting up to 25 lbs.
