PRIMARY PURPOSE:

To spearhead the business analysis initiatives for implementations and large-scale, multi-faceted projects; to evaluate, analyze, and document both internal and client user requirements; and to provide guidance and leadership within the business analysis team.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead the requirements management efforts for substantial projects, including new client implementations and strategic initiatives; develop and execute a requirements management strategy for assigned projects; and take ownership of the business analysis role throughout the project lifecycle.

Identify and engage stakeholders; initiate and facilitate meetings and discussions with stakeholders as necessary.

Collaborate with project managers, project requestors, operations, business representatives, IT representatives, and clients to ensure a comprehensive understanding of software requirements; offer business-related IT insights to clients and business representatives during the requirements management process.

Generate project requirements documentation, including written documents, process diagrams, report mock-ups, wireframes, and other necessary documentation, utilizing standard templates.

Adhere to deadlines and manage work according to timelines. Mentor team members.

ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform other duties as assigned. Support the organization's quality programs. Travel as required.

QUALIFICATIONS: Education & Licensing: Bachelor's degree required; major in computer science field preferred.

Experience:
Six (6) years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience required. Experience in multi-line claims management processes and system requirements is strongly preferred. Skills & Knowledge: Strong understanding of third-party administration/claims management business and technology; proficient in Microsoft Office products; analytical and interpretive skills; strong organizational skills; excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills; self-motivated; ability to work collaboratively in a team environment; willingness to take initiative; ability to meet or exceed performance competencies.
