We are seeking a full-time, experienced paralegal to support attorneys at a fast-paced, team-oriented firm in its Manhattan office.

The ideal candidate will have experience with complex litigation and plaintiff firms, especially in the areas of antitrust, securities, and consumer class actions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing support to multiple partners and associates;
  • Proofreading and cite checking all legal documents;
  • Completing projects on time and accurately;
  • E-filing in federal and state courts;
  • Working under pressure, meeting deadlines with shifting priorities;
  • Being a self-starter with a high level of initiative;
  • Having strong customer service skills and anticipating needs;
  • Maintaining confidentiality and exercising discretion;
  • Exercising solid strategic thinking and problem-solving skills;
  • Having considerable knowledge of technical legal terminology and legal processes and procedures;
  • Being familiar with Microsoft Office 365, Kofax Power PDF, Bloomberg, Westlaw, LexisNexis File & Serve, Pacer, Courtdrive, and electronic filing procedures.

Preferred qualifications include a minimum of three years of relevant experience as a paralegal and proficiency in SharePoint document management system.

Candidates will be tested on proofreading, grammar, punctuation, fact checking, and cite-checking skills at the time of the interview.
