Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining portable plant equipment, including loaders and trackhoes, to produce site material in a timely and efficient manner. The successful candidate will have a strong background in equipment maintenance, operation, and safety protocols.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain portable plant equipment, including loaders and trackhoes, to produce site material.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Identify site needs and develop plans to complete jobs efficiently.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to achieve project goals.
  • Ensure a safe working environment by adhering to OSHA, MSHA, and H&K Safety policies.
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience in trackhoe operations and equipment maintenance.
  • Proficient written communication skills.
  • Leadership and teamwork skills.
  • Self-motivated and organized.
  • Safety-focused.
  • Ability to fit test and utilize appropriate PPE as needed.
  • Ability to meet physical requirements of the job.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience with loader operations.
  • Experience with Q329 caterpillar trackhoe and LT105 portable crusher.
  • OSHA, MSHA, or other safety certifications.
