Aggregate Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Aggregate and Asphalt Quality Control Technician to join our team at H&K Group Inc. This role is responsible for ensuring the quality of aggregate and asphalt materials used in our construction projects.
Key Responsibilities- Collect and test samples of aggregate and asphalt to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Perform quality control checks on materials to ensure compliance with company and agency specifications.
- Maintain accurate records of test results and quality control data.
- Collaborate with plant operations, agency representatives, and quality control supervision to ensure smooth project execution.
- Communicate test results and trends to the quality control team and H&K employees.
- Strong work ethic and organizational skills.
- Algebra-level math skills to perform calculations for AASHTO and ASTM procedures.
- Rudimentary computer skills, including ability to use spreadsheets and word processors.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to meet physical demands of the job, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience working with aggregates and bituminous materials.
- NECEPT bituminous plant and aggregate certification.
- Experience in construction materials production or use.
