We are seeking a skilled Pediatric Coding Specialist to join our team at Arkansas Children's. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely coding of inpatient and observation visits, as well as Same Day Surgery, Emergency Department, and Radiology patient visits.

About the Role:
  • Codes and abstracts patient data using the ICD-10-CM/PCS classification and CPT coding system.
  • Develops and completes physician coding queries to ensure accuracy and completeness of records.
  • Resolves accounts with coding issues affecting billing and collection processes.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. A strong understanding of coding guidelines and regulations, as well as experience with coding software and systems, is also essential.
