Job Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the coordination of activities for designated physician practices.
  • Manage insurance verification and obtain necessary precertifications.
  • Schedule appointments, pre-register patients, and transmit orders efficiently.
  • Aim to maximize reimbursement and minimize denials by ensuring complete insurance information and authorization.
  • Maintain relevant statistics and serve as a liaison between clinical testing sites and physician offices.

Work Schedule:

This position requires availability for the shift from 11:30 AM to 8:00 PM.

Qualifications:

Candidates must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Experience:

Previous experience in a healthcare setting is advantageous.

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong service orientation.
  • Competence in technology and computer applications.
  • Candidates should meet at least two of the following criteria:
    • Two years of experience in a healthcare environment, or
    • Completion of a healthcare-related certificate program, or
    • An Associate's Degree or higher, or
    • Transferable skills (e.g., one year or more in customer service or call center roles).

Additional Requirements:

Candidates must successfully pass a medical terminology test and applicable computer applications test within six months of hire.
