Position Overview:

NorthBay Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and Board Certified Internal Medicine Physician to join our esteemed health system located in Northern California. Our Center for Primary Care is renowned for delivering exceptional medical services through a collaborative team of family practice, internal medicine, and pediatric specialists.

Location Benefits:

Work Schedule:

  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
  • Patient Care: Outpatient only
  • Call Ratio: Balanced call ratio among physicians
  • Daily Patient Load: Approximately 18 patients
  • Resources: Access to state-of-the-art medical equipment and comprehensive support
  • Team Collaboration: Work alongside a supportive team of physicians and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct patient consultations to determine effective treatment plans
  • Order and recommend diagnostic tests to assess health conditions
  • Monitor laboratory results and medication compliance
  • Prescribe treatments, therapies, and medications to manage patient health
  • Discuss procedures and test outcomes with patients
  • Refer patients to specialists as needed
  • Participate in hospital committees to ensure equitable meeting attendance
  • Collaborate with and oversee APPs

Qualifications:

  • MD or DO degree
  • Board certification in Internal Medicine
  • Valid medical license to practice
  • Experience in a primary care environment
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to thrive in a team-oriented setting

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Annual Salary: Ranges from $320,000 to $418,000
