As a key member of our hotel management team, you will be responsible for planning and managing the rooms and related areas of operations to achieve customer satisfaction and quality service while meeting/exceeding financial goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the human resources in the department to attract, retain, and motivate employees.
  • Develop and recommend the department's annual budget, business plan, forecasts, and objectives to meet/exceed management expectations.
  • Implement company programs and manage the operations of the department in a manner consistent with federal and state laws and regulations and company policies and procedures.
  • Resolve customer complaints to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and quality.
  • Implement emergency organization procedures and training through the management of the security staff to ensure appropriate protection for hotel guests, staff, and company assets.
  • May assume the responsibilities of the General Manager in their absence.
Requirements:
  • Advanced knowledge of the principles and practices within the Rooms Discipline and Hospitality Profession.
  • Ability to study, analyze, and interpret complex activities and/or information to improve practices or develop new approaches.
  • Supervisory/management skills.
  • Ability to negotiate, convince, sell, and influence professionals and/or hotel guests.
  • Excellent communication skills to communicate with guests, associates, and corporate contacts in a professional and extensive manner.
Education and Experience:
  • A four-year college degree or equivalent education/experience.
  • Three years of employment in a related position in the hospitality industry.
Travel Requirements:
  • Limited travel associated with corporate training, off-site meetings, etc.
