Job Title: Lead Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Software Engineer to join our Engineering Team at TheIncLab. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the development of software systems and platforms, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of software systems and platforms.
  • Collaborate with architects, product managers, and project managers to determine system architecture and technical requirements.
  • Manage and oversee product and system designs and changes to ensure deliverables are aligned with project roadmaps.
  • Participate in client meetings, presentations, and product demos to serve as technical SME and address client questions and/or issues.
  • Help identify, troubleshoot, and recommend resolutions of development issues or bugs.
  • Review and enforce the use of version control and documentation to communicate code updates.
  • Serve as QA tester to validate code, completion of project requirements, and approve milestone completion.
  • Create an inclusive environment across all aspects of the development team that supports and promotes continuous learning, knowledge sharing, and teamwork.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or information systems.
  • 7+ years of architecting and delivering software systems or platforms.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in software development and software engineering.
  • 5+ years of demonstrated experience in all areas of data engineering.
  • 5+ years of demonstrated experience managing software development teams in an Agile work environment.
  • 5+ years of experience in software QA testing and network security engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience in strategic workforce development.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree.
  • 3+ years of front-end development experience.
  • 5+ years of back-end development experience.
  • 3+ years of working container experience.
  • 3+ years of enterprise data modeling experience.
Clearance Requirements:
  • Applicants must be a US citizen and be able to obtain a clearance due to the nature of the projects.
