Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Pelham City Schools. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out duties related to the job as assigned by the Superintendent, Principal, or Supervisors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out all duties related to the job as assigned by the Superintendent, Principal, or Supervisors.
  • Meet the requirements as set by the State of Alabama certification authorities.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans.
  • Assess and diagnose communication disorders in students.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to address communication disorders.
Requirements:
  • Must pass appropriate background screening.
  • Must have the physical ability, aptitude, and skills to complete all duties related to the job.
  • Must have the ability to maintain good interpersonal relationships.
  • College graduate and meet the requirements as set by the State of Alabama certification authorities.
