Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team at the IAH Secure Adult Detention Facility in Livingston, Texas. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality meals to our residents while maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook meals according to pre-planned menus and dietary requirements
  • Maintain kitchen equipment and work areas in a clean and sanitary condition
  • Supervise and train non-citizen residents in kitchen duties and food preparation
  • Assist with special events and functions, such as catering and food service for visitors
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and handling regulations
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Food service training and experience preferred
  • Ability to obtain a food handlers permit and complete required training
  • Valid driver's license in the state of Texas (unless waived by management)
