Position Summary

The Medical Imaging Sales Specialist will collaborate with a local account executive team to deliver our product solutions to healthcare systems, hospitals, diagnostic imaging centers, and oncology facilities. Successful candidates will embody authenticity and integrity, essential for establishing meaningful and enduring relationships with clients. This role also involves serving as the technical product authority for clients considering United Imaging's equipment and service offerings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Formulate a business strategy for modality products within a designated region, utilizing the United Imaging portfolio to maximize market potential.
  • Establish and enhance the United Imaging modality brand within the region, expanding the installed base and reputation through exceptional customer service.
  • Assist account executives with effective strategies, product knowledge, clinical insights, and business acumen to promote sales opportunities.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the unique needs of clients, including clinical, operational, and financial aspects relevant to their environments.
  • Act as the voice of the customer, articulating their perspectives and requirements related to the planning, evaluation, acquisition, and clinical application of the modality.
  • Consult with clients on product offerings and guide them through the sales process.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders influencing PET/CT equipment decisions, including radiologists, radiology managers, and technologists.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets for the assigned territory.
  • Support the account team in developing and maintaining a qualified sales pipeline to ensure consistent overachievement.
  • Engage with internal support teams to advance sales initiatives through product expertise, clinical demonstrations, and customer references.
  • Develop and nurture regional customer references and a satisfied installed base for United Imaging products.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of the healthcare sector as it pertains to the MI modality, including market trends and competitive intelligence.

Qualifications

Education

  • A bachelor's degree or higher; clinical experience in PET/CT is preferred.

Experience

  • A minimum of 5 years of sales experience in a quota-carrying role within the PET/CT modality or a related field.
  • Proven technical, clinical, operational, and financial expertise relevant to the PET/CT market for U.S. customers.
  • A successful history of achieving and surpassing sales objectives.
