About the Opportunity

HCA Florida Heart and Lung, in partnership with HCA Florida Capital Hospital, is seeking a skilled cardiothoracic surgeon to join their established practice and growing service line in Tallahassee, Florida.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform complex cardiothoracic surgeries, including coronary revascularization, valve repair and replacements, and thoracic surgery.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of cardiologists, anesthesiologists, surgical, RN, and Critical Care staff to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in cardiothoracic surgery, including minimally invasive cardiac and robotic thoracic surgery, and aortic surgery.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Board certification in cardiothoracic surgery.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in cardiothoracic surgery.
  • Experience with TAVR, minimally invasive lung surgery, and advanced technologies to reduce the invasiveness of thoracic and cardiovascular procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
