Overview of Your Role:


As a Lead Construction Engineering Specialist, you will offer technical oversight and guidance to the construction teams across various project sites, from the initial bidding phase to the final project acceptance for infrastructure, drainage systems, roadway surfaces, and structural developments. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring that all projects comply with design standards, budget limitations, and timelines by utilizing various tracking logs, project permit documentation, daily labor reports, material delivery records, and logs for mandated inspections.

Your Responsibilities:


  • Conduct monthly reviews and approvals of the Critical Path Method (CPM) schedules.
  • Process engineering analysis reports to address material disposition challenges.
  • Engage directly with client representatives and the contracting community to strategize complex operations and resolve contractual issues.
  • Oversee administrative personnel in the preparation of all documentation necessary for final estimate submissions throughout the construction project's lifecycle.

Qualifications Required:


  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
  • Possession of a Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • A minimum of ten years of experience in construction inspection.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans and specifications.
  • Ability to obtain necessary certifications and pass relevant qualification tests within specified timeframes.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

This position primarily involves outdoor work, which may expose you to varying weather conditions, heat, humidity, noise, and other environmental factors depending on project needs. Physical demands may include frequent communication, standing, moving, walking, bending, kneeling, crouching, reaching, handling, and occasional lifting of up to 35 lbs.
