JOB SUMMARY:

This role is responsible for managing the workers' compensation claims process, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement safety policies and programs. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and analytical skills, with a strong understanding of occupational health and safety principles and regulations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and implement safety policies, procedures, and programs to reduce workplace injuries and illnesses
• Manage workers' compensation claims, ensuring timely and accurate reporting, investigation, and resolution
• Collaborate with safety managers, service providers, and insurance representatives to drive continuous safety improvement
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements, including OSHA standards and air permitting regulations
• Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement
• Develop and deliver training programs to ensure employees understand and adhere to safety policies and procedures

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, safety and health, or a related field
• 3 years' experience in a safety role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting
• OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 certifications
• Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety principles, regulations, and best practices
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
