Nutramax Laboratories Group is seeking an experienced EHS Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining a comprehensive environmental, health, and safety (EHS) program that ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement EHS policies, procedures, and training programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards and risks.
- Manage and maintain accurate records of EHS-related activities, including incident reports, training records, and regulatory compliance documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies to improve EHS performance and reduce risks.
- Develop and manage budgets for EHS-related expenses, including training, equipment, and regulatory compliance costs.
- Provide guidance and support to employees on EHS-related matters, including hazard reporting, incident investigation, and corrective action.
- Stay up-to-date with changing regulatory requirements and industry best practices to ensure our EHS program remains effective and compliant.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as environmental science, occupational health and safety, or a related field.
- At least 8 years of experience in EHS management, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local EHS regulations, including OSHA and EPA requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to analyze data and develop effective solutions to EHS-related problems.
- Strong budgeting and financial management skills, with the ability to manage EHS-related expenses.
