We are seeking a highly skilled Airport Operations Coordinator to join our team at the City of Waco. This role will be responsible for coordinating the use of airport facilities in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate airport operations to ensure compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR) Part 139, Transportation Security Regulation (TSR) Part 1542, and City of Waco Ordinances.
- Maintain airport safety and security by conducting regular inspections and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Assist with implementing the Airport Security Program, including badging, audits, access control, and training.
- Manage special projects and research informational material to compile reports for departmental functions.
- Perform administrative tasks, including monitoring accounting, budgets, and expenditures, and maintaining department files.
- Bachelor's Degree in Airport Management or Aviation Management.
- 1 year of experience at a part 139/1542 certified airport or military airport with equivalent duties.
- Valid Texas Driver's License.
- Ability to pass TSA Background Screening.
