A Day in the Life

As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you'll conduct day-to-day analysis and tests, ensuring the quality control program meets requirements. You'll identify problems through auditing and work with leadership to provide resolution and prevent recurrence of non-conformances.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactive approach to supporting the manufacture of products to meet requirements
  • Identify problems thru auditing of product and processes, and work with leadership to provide resolution and prevent recurrence of non-conformances
  • Utilize data generated to provide potential root causes for special cause events
  • Transaction of material in SAP, Access database and NMR database
  • Compile and analyze data to create Power Point presentation for all Quality metrics
  • Be proactive in recognizing and communicating potential quality issues to leadership
  • Solve problems identified during quality activities and implementing solution as approved
  • Communicates issues or developments identified during quality activities and provides/recommended process improvements to leadership
  • Maintains a working knowledge of manufacturing requirements and standards
  • Participates in cross functional teams as needed for continuous improvement activities
  • Work under the direction of Quality Engineer on special projects
What We Look For

We're looking for individuals who demonstrate the ability to work safely at all times, with a passion to win, having a customer focus, as part of a unified one team.

Proven manufacturing experience with reading drawings, dimensional inspection, troubleshooting issues and reporting is a must. Ability to work overtime (including weekends) to support the needs of the plant is also required.

Strong interpersonal skills, decision making ability, and computer skills are essential. Effective and professional communication and organization skills are also necessary.
