Key Responsibilities
- Lead, train, and support production teams to ensure optimal workflow and adherence to schedules.
- Monitor and prioritize tasks to meet production targets; proactively address potential bottlenecks.
- Take initiative in resolving challenges, collaborating with relevant departments to ensure effective solutions.
- Manage and hold production staff accountable for their performance.
- Assess production processes to enhance efficiency and recommend improvements.
- Identify training needs and collaborate with HR to develop training programs for team members.
- Assist in the recruitment and onboarding processes for new employees.
- Support HR functions related to hiring, performance evaluations, and employee relations.
- Ensure a safe working environment and promptly address any safety concerns.
- Report any facility or equipment issues as they arise.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational, communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient problem-solving abilities and a solid work ethic.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Self-motivated and capable of working collaboratively within a team.
- Fluency in both English and Spanish is preferred.
Education and Experience
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. A minimum of 7 years of experience in an industrial manufacturing setting, including at least 4 years in a supervisory role overseeing a team of 15 or more.
