Job Description

Staffing Specialist

Doherty Staffing Solutions Inc is seeking a skilled Staffing Specialist to join our team in Jackson, MN. As a Staffing Specialist, you will be responsible for recruiting and identifying qualified candidates to build and maintain a candidate pool. You will also be responsible for thoroughly entering all candidate and employee files into our CRM, communicating with applicants and employees regarding interviews and providing them with status updates, and coaching candidates and employees on interview skills, attendance, attitude, appearance, and hygiene.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Recruit and identify qualified candidates to build and maintain a candidate pool.
  • Enter all candidate and employee files into our CRM.
  • Communicate with applicants and employees regarding interviews and provide them with status updates.
  • Coach candidates and employees on interview skills, attendance, attitude, appearance, and hygiene.
  • Provide verbal or in-person check-ins on the employee's first day and subsequent client follow-up regarding the attendance and performance of the employee.
  • Manage and develop client relationships, providing recruiting status updates for open orders, quality checks for employees currently working, and identifying potential new orders.
  • Meet with clients in person, attend tours, and present service reviews as needed.
  • Perform all daily office tasks, including entering paperwork, answering phones, and greeting applicants in a timely and professional manner by successfully multi-tasking.

Key Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED and two years of work experience in a professional office setting preferred.
  • Effective written and verbal communication, comfortable communicating face-to-face, via the phone, or over email.
  • Ability to work in and add value to a team environment.
