As a Cardiovascular OR Technician with Northern Arizona Healthcare Corporation, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our cardiovascular operating rooms. Your expertise will be essential in preparing supplies and equipment for interventions, using appropriate techniques, and providing technical services as assigned and directed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain a safe and efficient operating room environment.
- Assist with procedures and provide technical services as assigned and directed.
- Monitor and maintain equipment and supplies, ensuring they are in good working order.
- Communicate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Completion of an OR Technician program required.
- BLS certification required.
- Recent experience as an OR Tech required.
- Previous experience in direct patient care settings as a CNA/PCT or SPD preferred.
