We are seeking a skilled Computer Aided Design Designer to join our team at Apex Systems. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for creating accurate and detailed technical drawings and designs using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
Responsibilities- Develop and maintain high-quality technical drawings and designs for mechanical and electrical engineering projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design accuracy and functionality.
- Work with engineering and production teams to ensure that designs meet project and manufacturing requirements.
- Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure all CAD work meets industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Support the development of simulation and analysis models as required.
- Conceptualize, design, and communicate successfully in CAD using current industry standards.
- 3+ years of experience creating technical drawings and plans using CAD software.
- Proficiency in design software, including CAD tools, simulation, and analysis software.
- Ability to work in both 2D and 3D environments.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance.
- AutoCAD experience preferred, but any 3D system will work.
