Key Responsibilities:
As a Mammography Specialist, your daily tasks will include:

  • Conducting mammography examinations independently, ensuring the production of high-quality images.
  • Assisting with both technical and administrative tasks related to mammography, including quality assurance and control measures.
  • Communicating clearly and effectively with patients regarding their exams and care.
  • Completing necessary documentation and facilitating interpretation for each examination.
  • Adhering to established radiation safety protocols to minimize exposure for both patients and staff.
  • Prioritizing patient needs and acting as a first responder when required.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.

Compensation:
The hourly wage for this position ranges from $35 to $48, with variations based on skills, experience, and educational background.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

  • ARRT registration in Mammography.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Preferred previous experience in mammography.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Outstanding patient care and customer service skills.
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
