Certified Respiratory Care Specialist (RT) - Full-Time Night Shift

Shift: 7PM to 7AM, Rotating Weekends and Holidays

Floral Long Term Care is in search of a dedicated Certified Respiratory Care Specialist to enhance our dynamic team in Tennessee. The successful candidate will possess a valid state license, demonstrate the ability to independently assess and treat patients, and exhibit a strong commitment to facilitating therapeutic interventions that support residents in their recovery journey.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform comprehensive evaluations and implement Respiratory therapies for patients experiencing a range of Respiratory conditions.
  • Initiate and oversee therapeutic procedures, maintain accurate patient records, and proficiently handle Respiratory apparatus.
  • Administer Respiratory muscle rehabilitation.
  • Experience with Mechanical Ventilation, Airvo systems, and Cough Assist devices.
  • Conduct deep breathing exercises, coughing techniques, and nebulization treatments.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team on cardiopulmonary management.
  • Execute bedside treatments and educational sessions in partnership with nursing personnel.
Qualifications:

Graduate of a COARC accredited Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy. Must be licensed as RRT or CRT. Current BLS certification required.
