Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Finance Team as an Accounting Intern. As an Accounting Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience in financial analysis, accounting, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports, balance sheet reconciliations, and journal entries
  • Participate in the month-end close process and assist with the preparation of quarterly forecasts
  • Collaborate with team members on ad hoc deliverables and special projects
  • Support daily cash management activities and analyze results
  • Participate in components of our Accounts Payable process

Requirements:

  • Accounting major with a strong understanding of financial concepts and principles
  • Sophomore or Junior year standing with a minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple assignments
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Basic knowledge of GAAP and financial statements; IFRS a plus
