This is a crucial role that requires utilizing radiation safety practices to provide high-quality examinations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Performs Radiologic exams as ordered by physicians.
  • Checks requisitions for physician notes and special instructions.
  • Consults with radiologists at the Medical Center or physicians as necessary.
  • Selects proper radiation exposure according to patient density.
  • Operates equipment as directed by demands of individual exams.
  • Assists in maintaining adequate patient records.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Successful completion of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology Program.
  • Current registry with ARRT (or eligible).
  • 1 year experience preferred.
