Position Summary:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Geriatric Medicine Specialist to join our esteemed team at the Magnolia Health Center. This role is pivotal in addressing the healthcare needs of the aging population in our community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive medical care to elderly patients, focusing on their unique health challenges.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient care.
- Engage in teaching and mentoring Family Medicine residents, Geriatric fellows, and medical students.
- Address complex behavioral health issues with compassion and expertise.
Qualifications:
Required Education and Experience:
- Medical Doctor (M.D) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) from an accredited institution.
- Board Certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
- Board Certification/Eligibility in Geriatric Medicine.
Licensure:
- Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice in Texas.
- Unrestricted DEA registration.
