CCMS & Associates is seeking a skilled Field Adjuster to join our team in Indiana, specifically in the Fort Wayne area. We are expanding our roster and looking for a professional with experience in property and casualty insurance claims adjusting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough property inspections using Xactimate software
  • Investigate claims by gathering information from insureds, claimants, and witnesses
  • Recommend claim reserves based on investigation and provide well-supported reserve reports
  • Obtain and interpret official reports
  • Review coverage forms and endorsements, and provide a thorough analysis of coverage and any coverage issues

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of first-party commercial and/or residential property adjusting experience
  • Maintain current estimating software, preferably Xactimate
  • Working computer with internet access and Microsoft Word
  • Strong time management and customer service skills
  • Experience in preparing Statement of Loss, Proof of Loss, and denial letters
  • Indiana State adjusters license
  • Valid drivers license

Preferred Qualifications:

  • College degree
  • AIC, IICRC, HAAG, or other professional designations
