Temporary Part-Time Faculty: Ceramics and Sculpture Instructor

We are seeking a qualified Temporary Part-Time Faculty member to teach lower division classes in Ceramics and Sculpture at the University of New Mexico Los Alamos campus. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching online and/or face-to-face Art Studio courses in Ceramics and Sculpture at the 1000 or 2000 level.
Key Responsibilities- Teach online and/or face-to-face Art Studio courses in Ceramics and Sculpture at the 1000 or 2000 level
- Develop and implement course curriculum and assessments
- Meet with students during assigned times and provide individualized support
- Grade assignments and report grades
- Assess student learning and provide feedback
- Master's degree in Ceramics or Sculpture or a related field
- Successful completion of at least 18 graduate credit hours in an accredited program in Ceramics or Sculpture
- Experience teaching in a post-secondary institution
- Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and student success
- Online teaching experience
- Terminal degree in Ceramics or Sculpture (Ph.D., MFA, etc.)
- New Mexico residence
- Teaching experience in Ceramics and Sculpture
- Experience with online course delivery
- Knowledge of curriculum development and assessment
