Job Overview

Position Summary:

The custodian is tasked with ensuring the upkeep of the facilities, maintaining cleanliness and organization in a manner that adheres to company standards. The visual appeal of a building is a reflection of its occupants, making it essential for the custodian to be meticulous and diligent in their cleaning and maintenance duties.

Compensation: The hourly wage is set at $18.00.

Work Schedule: Available shifts run from 4:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain cleanliness by removing trash, organizing furniture, and dusting surfaces.
  • Perform floor care tasks including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
  • Sanitize and wash various areas within the facility.
  • Restock supplies and consumables throughout the premises.
  • Ensure work areas are clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations, including OSHA and SDS standards.

Required Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience as a custodian, janitor, or in a comparable role.
  • Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and supplies.
  • Understanding of safe disposal methods for chemical liquids and hazardous materials.
  • Strong attention to detail and a conscientious work ethic.
  • Good physical condition and stamina, capable of navigating stairs frequently and standing for extended periods.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in email communication.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Eligibility to work in the U.S. as a citizen, permanent resident, or authorized non-citizen.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
