We are seeking a highly skilled Revenue Capture Specialist to join our team at Northern Arizona Healthcare. This role is responsible for ensuring revenue capture and optimization through charge master reviews, audits, and reconciliation of charges.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reconcile daily accounts to ensure accurate charge capture in the Accounts Receivable system.
  • Review charges for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with coding and billing rules.
  • Maintain and update charge screens in the Electronic Medical Record system.
  • Follow up on late charges and write-offs to ensure revenue integrity.
  • Research and propose solutions for revenue discrepancies.
  • Maintain department charge master files and review charge master every six months.
  • Collaborate with department managers and Revenue Integrity Manager to ensure proper pricing and coding.
  • Audit medical records against charges and claims to improve charge capture and documentation.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Certified Coding Associate or equivalent preferred.
  • 3 years' experience in the healthcare industry with an in-depth understanding of clinical areas required.
  • Medical coding and documentation review experience preferred.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills required.
