As a key member of our revenue cycle team, you will be responsible for managing and resolving incoming and outgoing calls regarding patient accounts, reviewing and correcting patient accounts for accuracy, and working with outside vendors to resolve patient disputes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Answer incoming calls regarding patient accounts and discuss payment options.
  • Process daily self-pay and sliding fee scale tickets.
  • Work with outside vendors to resolve questions and patient disputes regarding outstanding balances.
  • Audit patient accounts for accuracy and possible refunds to patients.
  • May assist with posting patient payments.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 12 to 18 months of medical billing experience (preferred).
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
