Inpatient Psychiatrist

We are seeking a highly skilled Inpatient Psychiatrist to join our team at Melrose Wakefield Hospital in Melrose, MA. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the delivery of high-quality psychiatric services.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment plans for adult patients with a range of psychiatric conditions.
- Collaborate with nurse practitioners, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to deliver patient-centered care.
- Participate in call coverage and provide supervision to medical students and residents as needed.
- May be eligible for a faculty appointment at Tufts University School of Medicine.
- Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree or foreign equivalent medical degree and completion of a four-year general psychiatry residency.
- Board certification or board eligibility in General Adult Psychiatry or a comparable foreign national certifying organization.
- Full license to practice medicine in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- Massachusetts Controlled Substance Registration and Federal DEA Certificates.
