Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Vitamin/HBA Manager to join our team at Sprouts Farmers Market. As a key member of our store team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing and leading a team of vitamin and health supplement specialists, and driving sales growth in our vitamin and health supplement department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and lead a team of vitamin and health supplement specialists to provide exceptional customer service and drive sales growth
  • Assist in the management of the vitamin and health supplement department, including ordering and inventory control, product quality, and supervision of the team
  • Coordinate production, merchandising, and sales through ongoing planning, direction, goal setting, communication, and teamwork
  • Develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of vitamins, supplements, and other health and body items in the department, providing guidance to customers on supplements, health and beauty, and related products
  • Recruit, hire, develop, mentor, and motivate the vitamin team to achieve sales and customer service goals
  • Unload and sort through store deliveries, ensuring timely and accurate receipt of merchandise
  • Ensure the execution of all company health, safety, and sanitation guidelines/regulations, and validate that other vitamin team members are also aware of, and following, these procedures
Requirements
  • At least 18 years of age and a minimum of 1 year of vitamin, homeopathy, or holistic experience with leadership duties; or an acceptable combination of education and experience
  • Dependable and reliable, with the ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Outgoing and friendly behavior, with a positive attitude and ability to interact with customers
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to give and take direction while maintaining a team environment
  • Ability to perform general housekeeping in the department, including cleaning and dusting
  • Adherence to all safety, health, and Weights and Measures regulations
  • Willingness to gain education on new products and alternative health
  • Strong organization and prioritization skills
  • Ability to perform physical demands of the job, including standing, walking, bending, climbing, and lifting up to 50 pounds
