Job Title

Avoiding burnout and fostering growth, we offer a part-time hourly position for an Autism Specialist to join our dynamic team. Located in Berlin, CT, Somewhere Over the Spectrum is a holistic center providing intensive therapeutic services to children with Autism.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • 1 year of ABA Therapist, RBT, or Paraprofessional Experience or 1 year of Early Childhood Experience
  • A desire to support children with special needs and their families
  • Strong Communication skills to support your relationship with BCBA's, Directors, co-workers, as well as the families you work with.
  • Reliable and flexible team member
  • The ability to take feedback in a constructive and professional manner, understanding this feedback is to ultimately support the client you are working with and your growth in the field

As an Autism Specialist at Somewhere Over the Spectrum, you will be immersed in a naturalistic environment that mirrors a typical preschool or Kindergarten setting. Our comprehensive program includes circle time, exploratory centers, and 1:1 ABA sessions. We also offer Intensive In-Home and Community Autism Programming.

Somewhere Over the Spectrum offers a competitive salary range of $40,000-$55,000 per year, plus medical, dental, and vision benefits, PTO, paid holidays, and a 401K plan with a 4% match after one year of employment.
