The OpportunityAs a senior full-stack engineer at Seekeasy, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our CTO and founding team to shape the development of our products and services. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our consumer applications and integrations, as well as shaping our development processes to ensure efficient and reliable production releases.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop scalable and efficient full-stack applications using the latest technologies and frameworks.
- Collaborate with UX designers and product managers to create user-centered designs and implement them using efficient and maintainable code.
- Develop and maintain our developer tooling, build, and deployment systems to ensure reliable production releases.
- Ensure high service availability by implementing logging, monitoring, and alerting for production services.
- Lead outage incident responses, identify and troubleshoot application issues, and optimize applications for efficiency and scalability.
- Guide the growth of our engineering team as we scale, and foster a culture of innovation and collaboration.
- Proficiency in front-end technologies, including HTML, CSS, Node.JS, and declarative frontend UI frameworks such as React.
- Proficiency in Python, Git, and RESTful API design and implementation.
- Experience with build systems such as Bazel, Pants, Buck, or Please.
- Passionate about AI and its potential to transform user experiences, and have experience with integrating ML models and APIs.
- A problem-solver who thrives in the ambiguity and fast pace of startup environments.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- A seasoned full-stack engineer with 4+ years of experience and a track record of building scalable systems.
- Live in the San Francisco Bay area and be able to commute to our office in San Francisco.
- Previous startup experience is a plus.
