About the Role

We are seeking a talented Full Stack Software Engineer to join our team at Postman. As a key member of our API Client team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our users.

Your primary focus will be on building and maintaining the core API client product experience, ensuring it is simple, intuitive, and meets the evolving needs of our users.

You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize features, collaborate on design and development, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality software.

As a Full Stack Software Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of technologies, including JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS. You will also have the chance to contribute to the development of our API client product, working on features such as request sending and debugging, protocol integration, and user interface enhancements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions for the API client product experience
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize features, ensure timely delivery, and meet user needs
  • Work closely with designers and product managers to develop user-centric software solutions
  • Contribute to the development of our API client product, working on features such as request sending and debugging, protocol integration, and user interface enhancements
  • Participate in code reviews, ensure adherence to coding standards, and contribute to the improvement of our development processes
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in full stack development
  • Strong background in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
  • Excellent communication skills and a customer-obsessed mindset
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a remote-first team environment
  • Experience with API design and development, React, and state management tools such as MobX is a plus
